Welcome to my free guitar learning website! My name’s Ben, and I was once like you, trying to learn how to play the guitar. Fortunately, the Internet is one of the best ways to get an education in guitar playing. I’ve been blogging about learning how to play the guitar since 2005, and along the way, I’ve gotten several testimonials from people who have benefited from the free guitar information and guitar lessons that my website shares.
As a child, I’ve always been interested in learning how to play the guitar. I think it was all the music videos and how guitarists always manage to look so cool belting out their songs. Only recently have I started actually putting time into learning the guitar, but I’ve since become proficient and confident enough to perform in front of friends. I still treat guitar playing as a hobby though, and I don’t intend to play in lounges or music bands as a guitarist.
I do hope that all my guitar experiences and all the guitar resources I have (about guitars, guitar playing, guitar accessories, and guitar equipment) will be of use to you!
Best Online Guitar Lesson Packages
I love the feeling of playing in front of my family and friends, so I highly recommend that you start learning how to play the guitar too. It’s not an easy process, so if you want to learn the guitar faster, you’re probably better off with guitar lessons. The problem is, the guitar is pretty expensive to learn – a highly-qualified teacher can easily cost more than $100 per hour. You might find guitar teachers who charge lower, but it’ll still be around $50 per hour.
The following are several online guitar lessons that I highly recommend after personally trying them out. They’re not free, but they’re extremely affordable when you consider the alternative of hiring a teacher. Luckily, the Internet has given us a variety of guitar learning programs, which show you how to teach yourself – in the privacy of your own home, and with no music knowledge required.
My key criteria for these guitar lessons were that they must be able to teach me how to learn the guitar fast, easy to use, and have a variety of learning levels to accommodate me both as a beginner and as a more advanced guitar player.
Not all guitar lessons packages work though, of the few that I tried, some were a complete waste of time. The rest that I have here actually do work, and can actually teach you how to play your favorite song with just a few hours of practice on the guitar.
