Learn How to Play the Guitar

Welcome! You must be really interested in learning how to play the guitar, otherwise you wouldn’t be here! Well, you’d be glad to know that the Internet is one of the best place to get an education in guitar playing. My site strives to list the very best guitar resources around. I’ve been blogging about learning how to play the guitar since 2005, and many people have benefited from the free information that my site has about how to learn the guitar.
Personally, I’ve been mesmerized with the guitar since who-knows-when, and only recently have I become proficient enough to perform in front of friends, outings, etc. It’s just a hobby though. I don’t intend to play in bands or lounges as a guitarist.
I do hope that I can put up my experiences and all the resources I have about guitars, guitar playing, and guitar accessories and equipment here. Better here where everyone can learn from it, than in an obscure corner of my computer!
Best Online Guitar Lesson Packages
I love the feeling of playing in front of my family and friends, so I highly recommend that you start learning how to play the guitar too. It’s not an easy process, so if you want to learn the guitar faster, you’re probably better off with guitar lessons. The problem is, the guitar is pretty expensive to learn – a highly-qualified teacher can easily cost more than $100 per hour. You might find guitar teachers who charge lower, but it’ll still be around $50 per hour.
The following are several online guitar lessons that I highly recommend after personally trying them out. They’re not free, but they’re extremely affordable when you consider the alternative of hiring a teacher. Luckily, the Internet has given us a variety of guitar learning programs, which show you how to teach yourself – in the privacy of your own home, and with no music knowledge required.
My key criteria for these guitar lessons were that they must be able to teach me how to learn the guitar fast, easy to use, and have a variety of learning levels to accommodate me both as a beginner and as a more advanced guitar player.
Not all guitar lessons packages work though, of the few that I tried, some were a complete waste of time. The rest that I have here actually do work, and can actually teach you how to play your favorite song with just a few hours of practice on the guitar.
